Good sermon by Paul Washer
But my question to him: how do you achieve holiness?
I mean you can preach all day to the congregation about the need to achieve holiness in God's eyes (which I agree) but not explain to them how..
I know that we need to be holy, for the past 5 years, but it is only recently that I learn that it is only by looking to Jesus that you can partake in Jesus' holiness.
Again, if by doing this and that can MAKE you holy, why is there a need for Jesus?
It is because God knows that your holiness can't be sustained by your own efforts that He sent His Son, so that through His sacrifice, you can partake in His holiness. Hallelujah!
