Fireproof - you never leave your partner behind especially in a fire

If you have not heard or have not seen the movie. I strongly recommend you watching it. Although the film is heavily based on saving marriage life, I feel that it is appropriate enough for us as the future for the Christian generation to have knowledge about it. The supporting cast is made up of volunteers from Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. The film is brilliantly produced that radiates messages of authentic determination, faith and hope, even for those of us who have felt like giving up on our marriages/relationships. I cried while watching the movie. So please do enjoy =D

Don't be dust-conscious!

Hello guys..

Robin shared something in the email which is really encouraging and empowering :) Take a look.

Luke 13:11
11
And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

Imagine being bowed over for 18 years. All you would see is the dust on the ground. That was the predicament of the woman in Luke 13. Dust was all her eyes fell on, all the time, everywhere she went, until she became dust-conscious. Thank God she finally saw the beautiful feet of Jesus, who brought her good news and raised her up.

Now, dust is the devil’s food. The Bible tells us that God cursed the devil to eat dust all the days of his life. (Genesis 3:14) Dust represents death. (Genesis 3:19) The devil wants you to be like him — to fall flat on your belly, crawl and eat dust. To eat dust is to feed on your shortcomings and lack, until you constantly feel that there is so much in your life that you need to clean up. You may not be physically bowed over, but like the woman, you become dust-conscious and life every day is a struggle.

Having a dust-consciousness also affects the way you see others. You look at people’s faults all the time. You point out their shortcomings and rake up their past failures. When you are dust-conscious, you find your relationships robbed of peace and joy.

And if you, like the woman, keep looking at the dust, before long, that inward position of dust-consciousness becomes so entrenched that you become the devil’s food because dust is what he eats. God’s Word describes him as being like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

If you don’t want to be devoured by him, then lift your eyes above the dust! Instead of looking at your failures, look to Christ who has delivered you from every defeat. See yourself the way God sees you — righteous and holy in Christ. (Colossians 3:12, 2 Corinthians 5:21) You are not dust because you are not in and of the flesh — you are in and of the Spirit. (Romans 8:9)

My friend, the more you realize who you are in Christ, the more you will straighten up and walk the way God sees you — a new creation with His authority, power and overcoming Spirit!

IMPACTED GENERATION!

Hi guys.. muakaka..
good morning! i'm up early today @ 7 am.. by the way, it's been a long long time I havent written anything but today I wanna share something that is close to my heart. Last night, I talked to a certain someone and that person's words struck me deep. hehe. kaya pakuu gitu lohh =P

Anyways, that person told me that we have to live a life that impact another person's. What do you instantly think about when you hear the word IMPACT?

According to a Merriam Webster translation, impact is "the force of impression of one thing on another" or "a significant or major effect" on something/someone.

I can tie that with a sermon that I heard just months ago from my podcast. The pastor was talking about getting up every morning with a purpose. (which is kinda close to
vision, like what Roy discussed last Wednesday during doa.. see I listened ;P hehe)

Aku pengen encourage ke kalian aja kalo ministry kita di dunia ini is meant to create impact on someone. a positive one of course. Just last night, someone who used to be a good friend of mine dah ga mau ke gereja karena dia pernah diomongin pas ke gereja. :( i was reallyyy disappointed, coz sometimes I talk about people (well, not her). haha. anyways, I feel that bener2 kita need to purposely be an impact everyday of our lives!

When Jesus came to this world, He had a vision, a purpose to impact the life of mankind by dying for their sins on the cross. and what's the impact? We have eternal life, peace, a knowledge & belief in the God who lives. :) Jesus impacted lots of people while He was on Earth, eg tax collector like Zacheus, Peter, etc etc.

So, we as Christians = little Christ(s) mestinya juga gituuu donk hehehe.
I kinda wanna learn to live my life this way too. Have a purpose each morning I wake up & a vision to impact someone (in a good way). ehehe.

With thattt..
I would also like to announce. BIBLE CAMP 2009: ELEVATE on June 19-21
why elevate?? I chose this theme this year because aku rindu anak2 muda kita untuk lebih deket lagi ama Tuhan. n' don't worry for those yg belon kenal Tuhan, God has opened His door to you. He's waiting to come into your heart and make it His cosy home. hehe.
Anyway, mark your calendar! .. ppl don't go back to Indo first. coz the camp is gonna be exciting and filled with God's favor & annointing.
In the camp, we will have fun praising, knowing Him more, more and more, bonding with our friends & practice teamwork.
Exciting, isn't it???????
Hope you all will come. contact one of us for more infoo-

Have a blessed weekend. God bless.
